Type II

Type II sheet piles are primarily used in applications where water tightness is required, such as in retaining walls, cofferdams, and seawalls. The interlocking edges of Type II sheet piles create a secure seal that prevents water from seeping through the structure. This makes them ideal for projects that involve excavations below the water table or construction near bodies of water. Additionally, Type II sheet piles are commonly used in marine construction for bulkheads and flood protection systems due to their durability and resistance to corrosion. These sheet piles are available in various lengths and thicknesses to suit different project requirements, making them a versatile choice for engineers and contractors working on waterfront projects requiring reliable and effective containment of water.

As an important auxiliary construction material, sheet piles can not only be used to support and protect the construction site but to ensure the safety of construction and surrounding buildings. It can also be used to reinforce and improve the bearing capacity of the soil.

Sheet pile can be used to provide permanent foundations, retaining walls and as extremely strong shuttering when a poured concrete foundation or retaining wall is required.
